Skanska’s First Office Project in Poznan Changes Hands
Skanska has sold its first office development in Poznan, Poland.

Poznan, Poland–Skanska has sold its first office development in Poznan, Poland.
The REINO Dywidenda FIZ, the first real estate closed-end investment fund set up and managed by REINO Partners, purchased the facility known as Malta House for approximately $41.6 million (€38 million).
Skanska Commercial Development Europe will record the sale in the third quarter of 2015, when the transfer of the five-story property is scheduled to occur.
The Malta House class A office complex features a leasable area of approximately 158,000 square feet (14,700 square meters) and more than 270 underground parking spaces. It is located in the central-eastern part of the city, on the shore of Lake Malta and offers easy access to a variety of shops, restaurants, cafés, hotels and services.
The property was completed in mid-2013 and is already 97 percent occupied by major tenants including Franklin Templeton, Ciber Poland and Owens-Illinois (O-I).
Designed by Pentagram Architekci, the project has a minimum environmental footprint, in line with Skanska’s green building philosophy. It also marks the first LEED Platinum certified office building in Poznan.

The company’s operations are concentrated in the metropolitan areas of the Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania and Poland and are conducted in four local units: Skanska Property Czech Republic, Skanska Property Hungary, Skanska Romania and Skanska Property Poland.
