Arrow Senior Living has announced the opening of its 15th senior living community in the U.S., located just outside of Springfield, Mo. Developed by O’Reilly Development Co., The Castlewood Senior Living has a 90 percent occupancy rate, becoming the first senior residential community in Christian County.

Castlewood is located at 1538 N. Old Castle Rd., in Nixa, and is a moderately-priced and pet-friendly community. The contained buildings provide leisure, entertainment and educational opportunities, such as bridge, yoga, and bible study. The 104-unit facility has independent and assisted living alternatives, offering studio, one- and two-bedroom options, as well as a memory care cottage.

On-site amenities include:

  • full-service beauty salon
  • fitness center
  • movie theater
  • indoor pool
  • transportation for doctor appointments

“Our well-trained team of caring professionals provides customized services and treats everyone like family. Personal wellness meetings, communication with residents’ personal physician, and connecting with other health care providers enables us to provide the quality of care that’s needed and expected to maximize every resident’s sense of independence,” said Virginia Winfrey, regional executive director for The Castlewood Senior Living, in a prepared statement.
