Rosewood Property Co., in partnership with MetLife Investment Management, has broken ground on a 326-unit luxury community at Heritage Creekside, the 156-acre mixed-use development in Plano, Texas. Veritex Bank provided the developer with construction financing.

The development team includes Hensley Lamkin Rachel Inc. as project architect, B2 Architecture & Design as interior designer and Provident General Contractors as general contractor. The project is slated for completion in 2024.

The four-story building will take shape on 4.3 acres at 601 Belpree Drive, near the intersection of Central Expressway and President George Bush Turnpike, 6 miles from downtown Plano. Amenities are set to feature a clubroom, a coworking and makers space, a fitness center, a golf simulator, a swimming pool and several courtyards, among others.

Owner and developer of Heritage Creek, Rosewood also has other multifamily investments and developments in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including the Creekside Townhomes in Richardson, the Republic House at Frisco Bridges in Frisco and Wildwood Creek in Grapevine. Backed by strong fundamentals, the metro led the nation for multifamily deliveries in 2021.
