Chicago—Related Midwest recently announced that it has completed the redesign of The Grant, a condo community that is part of the South Loop Luxury by Related collection in Chicago.
The Grant, which includes 54 stories, features two- and three bedroom apartments with two to three bathrooms that range in size from 1,207 to 3,000 square feet. Units include balconies, 9-foot ceilings and views of Lake Michigan, the Chicago skyline, Grant Park and Soldier Field. The prices for the condos range from the $300,000s to more than $2 million.
Related Midwest partnered with Simeone Deary Design Group to give The Grant an updated design in the units and common areas, as well as a new suite of amenities and services.
New amenities include access to a Related Personal Assistant, who can provide moving and concierge services. The Grant also includes a new children’s playroom, which is the first of its kind in a downtown Chicago building.
Additionally amenities include a fitness center with an indoor pool, hot tub and locker rooms; a screening room and lounge with a projection screen; a bike maintenance and storage room; and a pet grooming area and outdoor dog park. The amenity level also includes a sun deck with a grilling area, as well as an entertainment suite with a catering kitchen that can be reserved.
“As the marquee property of the South Loop Luxury by Related collection, The Grant offers the finest level of amenities, finishes and service,” Curt Bailey, president of Related Midwest, tells MHN. “For example, not only will residents of The Grant have access to a Related Personal Assistant available to handle everything from move-in coordination to concierge services, but they’ll be able to enjoy a variety of sophisticated amenities, including an indoor pool and on-site children’s playroom that is unlike anything else in a downtown Chicago residential building—in fact, it’s the first of its kind in this market.”
“The draws for buyers to The Grant are almost too many to mention,” Bailey adds. “But without a doubt, if buyers, particularly families, are looking for spacious and elegantly designed floor plans, than no other condominium building in the city offers the same level of quality at this price point. The residences at The Grant are so large buyers won’t grow out of them. They can remain in the city and enjoy everything the South Loop has to offer—from immediate access to the Lake and Museum Campus, to outstanding schools and incredible views.”
