BrickellHeights_TAMZThe Related Group has completed its latest development in Miami, the 690-unit Brickell Heights highrise in the Brickell district near downtown. The project, which was launched in 2014, is now 100 percent sold out, with closings expected to begin in early June.

In line with the developer’s affinity for curated real estate projects, the Related Group commissioned Arquitectonica and David Rockwell for the tower’s exterior and interior designs, respectively. The towers’ facades showcases a distictive Arquitectonica bas-relief design.

Design-focused

Brickell Heights sports a 35,000-square-foot mural by Argentine artist Fabian Burgos. The hand-painted work flanks the then entire exterior façade and displays the artist’s color and geometric compositions. Burgos is currently installing an even larger mural at Related’s SLS LUX Brickell development, which is set to open at the end of 2017, as well as at Related’s SLS Puerto Madero project in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Brickell Heights will include a three-story, 34,000-square-foot Equinox Fitness Club. The club will be the brand’s fifth and largest one in Miami, featuring will a wraparound deck, poolside cabanas and a panoramic yoga studio with ocean views and floor-to-ceiling windows.

The development will also include the first SoulCycle Studio in Downtown Miami, as well as sustainable community gardens designed by seed-to-table specialist Dylan Terry, and a rooftop pool. Brickell Heights is near the 2 million-square-foot Brickell City Centre, which features retail, cinemas, restaurants, two residential towers and a hotel.
