Related Debuts, Breaks Ground on Luxury FL Communities
Expanding its Icon brand in Central Florida, the company unveiled Icon Harbour Island in Tampa and started construction on Icon Central in St. Petersburg.

The Related Group has completed Icon Harbour Island, a 340-unit luxury high-rise in Tampa, Fla., along with breaking ground on Icon Central, a 368-unit luxury high-rise in St. Petersburg, Fla. Both properties represent the company’s growing Icon brand, which leverages demand for luxury rental communities throughout urban neighborhoods.
Situated at 855 Central Ave., Icon Central will be the restoration of the historic 1926-built Union Trust Bank building and offer a contemporary federal architectural style. Residents of the tower will have access to amenities including a club lounge with game simulator room, state-of-the-art fitness center with yoga and cycle studios, spa with steam and sauna, private dining room and catering kitchen, indoor Zen garden, pool courtyard with heated zero-edge pool and eighth level amenity deck with grilling kitchen and outdoor movie lawn. The tower is scheduled for completion in mid-2019.
“Our Icon properties are unlike anything else in the rental category and I’m sure anyone that walks through Icon Harbour Island would agree. Debut of Icon Harbour Island
Located at 301 Harbour Place Drive, the tower offers studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans, as well as a penthouses ranging from $1,850 to $4,870 per month. Interior features include energy-efficient windows, sliding glass doors, private balconies, oak flooring, quartz counter tops, porcelain backsplashes, European-style cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, movable and oversized kitchen islands, ceiling fans, USB receptacles, full-sized washer/dryers and spa-like bathrooms with designer fixtures, custom-framed mirrors and soaking tubs. Residents have access to amenities such as:

Other Icon-branded towers include Icon Las Olas in Fort Lauderdale, as well as Icon Buckhead and Icon Midtown in Atlanta‘s submarkets of Buckhead and Midtown. In addition to working on the Icon brand, the company has five individual projects in its Central Florida pipeline totaling around 2,000 units, which include Town at Trelago in Maitland and Town Westshore and Manor Riverwalk in the greater Tampa region.
