American Landmark and its debt and equity partner, Electra America, has acquired Haven at Liberty Hills, a 246-unit class A community in Houston. The new owner is planning to invest close to $1 million in property improvements, including a dog park, summer kitchen, fire pits and enhancements to common areas. Recently, American Landmark acquired Advenir at Mansfield, a 334-unit garden-style asset in Texas.

Located at 14580 Crosby Freeway, in close proximity to major transportation routes, Haven at Liberty Hills provides easy access to downtown Houston, which is 16 miles away. The property is close to several recreation areas, including Brock Park Golf Course, Banana Bend Nature Preserve and Gene Green Beltway 8 Park.

The property, completed in 2018, spreads across 10.2 acres and offers one- and two-bedroom units averaging 857 square feet. Common-area amenities include controlled access, a fitness center, clubhouse and a swimming pool.

“Houston remains an attractive market for investment, thanks to accelerated hiring that underpins strong demand outpacing new deliveries,” Christine DeFilippis, chief investment officer of American Landmark, said in a prepared statement.
