Fort Worth, Texas—Saving water is an easy way to save some green. It is also good for the environment. Niagara Conservation Corporation recently introduced an ultra-high-efficiency vacuum-assist toilet that can cut water usage and keep your asset’s utility bills down.
According to Carl Wehmeyer, executive vice president at Niagara, the Stealth Toilet has a powerful and quiet flush that “uses only 0.8 gallons of water—versus the industry standard of 1.28 gallons,” and has the potential to save 12,811 gallons and $102 annually. “That’s 37 percent more water than regular high-efficiency toilets,” Wehmeyer adds.
The secret lies within the tank. The toilet actually harnesses the energy created by water filling the tank, and uses an air transfer system to pressurize the bowl’s trap-way. When the flush button is pressed, the bowl evacuates with swift but quiet flush.
The Stealth Toilet is offered in both round-front and elongated bowl models. The units are adaptable to fit a 12-inch, rough-in installation—meaning the Stealth can easily replace an existing toilet to instantly improve your asset’s water conservation. Chair height sits at a comfortable 17 inches. All Stealth Toilets are EPA WaterSense certified and come with a 10-year limited warranty.
The Stealth Toilet is part of Niagara’s ‘Stealth System’ that includes a high-efficiency shower-head and aerator with three flow options, a dual-spray kitchen aerator, and a lead-free aerator. Niagara touts that the all-in-one kit can save 40,000 gallons per household annually.
