Queens Luxury Project Nears Completion

Long Island City’s residential building boom continues, with construction nearing completion on Bevel LIC, a 202-unit apartment building in the western neighborhood of Queens, N.Y. Designed by ODA New York and developed by Brooklyn-based Rabsky Group, the luxury property rises 18 stories at 42-20 27th St., within a block of the Queensboro Plaza station.

New York Yimby first reported on the state of the project, noting that nearly all exterior work on the striking, angular property is finished. The apartments are being marketed by Fiddler Realty and City View Living. Layouts range from studios that start at $2,400 per month to two-bedroom units starting at $4,200 per month, as well as a two-bedroom with terrace layout for which the price is not listed.

Durukan Design crafted the interiors, which feature wooden floors and floor-to-ceiling windows. The building’s amenities include a movie theater, gym, courtyard and several lounge and recreational spaces. Bevel LIC sits within the Court Square neighborhood of Long Island City, which has rapidly developed in recent years following a rezoning.

Located near the intersection of Queens Boulevard and Jackson Avenue, the building neighbors Tower 28, a 58-story community owned by Heatherwood Luxury Rentals that was completed in 2017, as well as luxury apartment buildings Luna LIC and One LIC.

Rabsky Group also worked with ODA on The Rheingold, a 500-unit, eight-story multifamily building in Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood. Leasing on the property began in November 2018.
