Woodmont Properties has commenced leasing at Woodmont Way, a new luxury apartment community in West Windsor, N.J. Featuring an address of 100 Woodmont Circle, the 443-unit property offers one-, two- and three-bedroom residences, along with a variety of indoor and especially outdoor amenities. The firm broke ground on Woodmont Way back in June of last year.

More than 1,000 names have signed on to the community’s VIP wait list. A recent VIP event brought about more than 100 virtual property tours. The leasing office is situated at the Princeton Commerce Center in the nearby university city of Princeton, N.J.

“The process started five years ago, when the seller decided it was the right time to sell the property,” Steve Santola, Woodmont Properties executive vice president, told Multi-Housing News. “It required a development company with a lot of experience, capital and staying power and we were fortunate to get the property.”

Outdoor living

When planning began at least two years prior to the dawn of the pandemic, Woodmont Properties made the decision to add a number of outdoor amenities to the property. It proved to be a decision that others would emulate after COVID-19’s arrival, Santola said.

“This property has four different terraces and outside amenity areas,” he added. “There is a cabana terrace adjacent to the pool, a poolside deck with chairs that sit inside the water and a clubhouse terrace. On the other side of the community, away from the more clustered amenities, we have a gazebo terrace with barbecue grills, bocce and outdoor games. This will spread out our residents. Everyone will be able to find their own favored outdoors place in which to hang out.”

Those who enjoy the outdoor amenities will also savor the opportunity to walk to an array of shopping and dining establishments, Santola said. A Whole Foods shopping center down the street features a yoga studio and an Amazon hub for takeout. “And right behind our community there is an historically preserved canal, with adjacent walking and biking trails that take you right into downtown Princeton,” he added.
