- Jan 28, 2016
Denver—Resmark Apartment Living, a division of Los Angeles-based Resmark Cos. has joined forces with Lennar Multifamily Communities to develop a 374-unit apartment community in Westminster, Colo., a northwestern suburb of Denver.
Located at 10999 Westminster Blvd., close to the W. 104th Ave. interchange with U.S. Highway 36, Axis Westminster will consist of 374 apartments across 13 three-story buildings. The garden-style community will lie on a vacant 16.33-acre site just two blocks away from the Westminster Promenade and Shops at Walnut Creek.
Axis Westminster will feature 374 one- and two-bedroom rental units, with the possibility of adding 79 more units in the future. Amenities will include an 8,000-square-foot clubhouse; a fitness facility; an outdoor swimming pool with a spa and pool deck; cabana seating areas and grilling stations;a bike repair shop; tuck-under parking garages; and a large dog park with pet wash facilities.
“Axis Westminster residents will have access to expanding public transportation with the build-out of the Northwest rail corridor and the future construction of a FasTracks Station practically next door,” Ziv Cohen, president of Resmark Apartment Living, said in a statement. “Further, the project is centered between Denver and Boulder with quick access to US-36, the primary artery connecting them.”
“Westminster is the epicenter for the tech-based companies growing here, and is often referred to as Colorado’s Silicon Valley,” added Scott Johnson, division president of Lennar Multifamily Communities. “Our focus is on developing communities that appeal to this new generation of employees who prefer shorter commutes and public transportation options and seek a wide range of amenities that foster community and enhance their quality of life.”
Construction on the project is scheduled to begin in the winter of 2016, with delivery expected in late 2017.
