Gardner Capital Completes DFW Affordable Community
- Aug 07, 2020
Gardner Capital has completed Provision at North Valentine, a seven-structure multifamily apartment community in Hurst, Texas. The 98-unit, three-story property will serve families with incomes 30 to 60 percent of the area median income. Last week, family-owned Gardner Capital completed a senior community in suburban Houston.
The property’s development benefited from a direct equity and debt execution with City Community Capital and took place in conjunction with the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.
Situated at 225 W. Bedford Euless Road, Provision at North Valentine features one- and two-bedroom floorplans. The 26 one-bedroom apartments average 701 square feet, while the 72 two-bedroom residences average 955 square feet in size. Apartments feature spacious kitchens with granite countertops, breakfast bars and pantries. Other features include walk-in closets and full-size washer and dryer connections. A business center offering high-speed Internet connection is among prominent common-area amenities.
Poised for growth
Situated in the “Mid-Cities” area of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, the location of Hurst-Euless-Bedford directly north of Arlington and near Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport leaves the region particularly well positioned for short- and long-term growth. Provision at North Valentine is located minutes from the North East Mall, and offers convenient access to highways leading to all points in the metropolitan area. It is within 20 to 22 minutes of Texas Wesleyan University and the University of Texas at Arlington.
Provident General Contractors served as the development’s general contractor, while GCRE Construction provided construction and risk management services on behalf of the developer. Property management services will be furnished by Seldin Co.
