New Orleans—Engel & Völkers has announced the opening of its second shop in New Orleans as reported by the RIS Media. Joyce Delery, Anne Delery and Marty Brantley, co-owners of the company’s New Orleans office, will be responsible for the new location that will operate under the name of New Orleans Historic.
Engel & Völkers held a grand opening celebration, featuring speeches by special guests like Sandra Lindquist, vice president of Membership Development of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, Todd Murphy, president of the Jefferson Parish Chamber of Commerce Jerry Bologna & president of the Jefferson Economic Development Commission and Pat Carpenter Bourgeois, president & CEO of Special Olympics Louisiana.
According to Joyce Delery, the opening occurs as the city approaches its 300th anniversary. The company decided to open a second location due to the great interest of foreign homebuyers in the area, making this an opportune time to grow the business globally and partner with Engel & Völkers’ international network. Anthony Hitt, CEO of Engel & Völkers North America, reported that 2017 is expected to be a good year for the New Orleans residential real estate market, making it a good time to expand the company’s network of shops.
