Peak Campus unveiled the launch of its new brand, Theory, at two new student housing developments in Raleigh, N.C. and Syracuse, N.Y. The communities will serve students attending North Carolina State University and Syracuse University, respectively. Both are slotted for completion by fall 2018.

“We are excited to introduce our new Theory brand of student housing in the Raleigh and Syracuse markets,” said Casey Petersen, chief operating officer at Peak Campus. “Our leasing offices are open for business and provide a preview of what you can expect at both projects.”

Theory Features

Theory Raleigh, located at 1505 Hillsborough St., offers 525 beds across one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom floorplans. Theory Syracuse, located at 919 E Genesee St., offers 601 beds across studio, one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom units. Fully furnished interiors for both communities include granite countertops, hardwood-style flooring, stainless steel appliances, upgraded lighting and cabinetry, private bedrooms and bathrooms, a 50-inch smart television, walk-in closets and nine-foot ceilings. Community amenities include a fitness center, business center, study and conference areas, Wi-Fi throughout the building, game room, package locker system, parking and bike storage. Theory Raleigh also offers a golf simulator and resort-style pool, while Theory Syracuse features a hot tub.

“Being a college student can feel like a balancing act and that’s exactly what this vibrant and fresh brand is all about,” said Allison Weber, vice president of marketing. “This brand is built on the ‘theory’ of having it all. The Theory of living in an apartment with the right personal space, the right social areas, and the right location—all backed by an award-winning management platform.”

In addition to development, Peak Campus manages more than 54,000 beds nationwide. Most recently, the company was selected to manage Haven at Thorpe Lane, a 183-unit student housing community located in San Marcos, Texas, which is currently also under development for fall 2018.
