Panorama Breaks Ground on Charlotte TOD Project
JLL Carolinas will manage the development of the 309-unit Lumeo Apartments, located near the University City Boulevard station on the LYNX Blue Line extension.

Panorama Holdings has begun work on Lumeo Apartments, a 309-unit transit-oriented community in Charlotte, N.C. JLL Carolinas is in charge of development and construction management, Samet is the general contractor and BB+M is the architect of the project. Orsborn Engineering Group and Vignette are also part of the development team, while FCA will handle property management. The first apartments are scheduled to be completed in 2020.
Located by the University City Boulevard station on the LYNX Blue Line extension in The Queen City, Lumeo will be close to a variety of transportation, retail, entertainment, education and employment options. The community is set to feature a clubhouse, saltwater pool with sun deck, courtyard, bar, fire pit, fitness center and pet spa.
According to a recent Yardi Matrix report, Charlotte’s strong business climate, substantial demographic expansion and attractive employment opportunities have continued to boost housing demand across the metro. Some 13,000 units were underway in the metro as of April, largely in response to local population growth.
