Portofino is, without a doubt, one of Tampa, Fla.’s unique apartment communities. Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, Portofino is located next to a natural wildlife preserve. Whether residents want to spend the day sunbathing, hiking or taking an afternoon drive through the park, they’ll find Portofino a piece of paradise that they’ll love to call home. Portofino also provides easy access to I-75 as well as shopping, restaurants and entertainment.
This lakeside, gated community offers the serenity found in the most prestigious of vacation resorts. Beautiful views and a lush landscape evoke a sense of relaxation that typically only a week long vacation can provide. With its grand clubhouse and two fitness centers—as well as two business centers—it’s easy to get excited about life at Portofino. Spacious garages are also available for rent. The swimming pool area boasts wireless Internet and a large Jacuzzi. Portofino prides itself on being a pet-friendly community with no weight limit for dogs.
Aside from Portofino’s list of amenities, its community features are also competitive. Residents have the option of a one-, two- or three-bedroom apartment with garden soaking tubs in all units. Each apartment features nine- to 10-foot ceilings with crown molding. They also feature ceramic tile foyers and plantation blinds on every window. All apartment homes have a screened-in patio with a storage unit. Built-in microwaves and custom paint colors are also included features, as are intrusion alarms. All apartments have washer and dryer connections, and most floor plans are furnished with a washer and dryer in the unit.
Pazia Bowe, an accountant and Portofino resident for over six months, says she wouldn’t change anything about this community. Referred to Portofino by close friends, she immediately fell in love with the office staff and environment. Bowe chose the Desenia floor plan because of the spacious living room with generous windows and the screened-in patio. According to Bowe, her “top-three amenities at Portofino would be the pool, the gym and the garage. Portofino has amazing parking,” adds Bowe, so finding a place to park is never a problem at this community.
Portofino is managed by Providence Management Co., and the leasing staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and happy to assist. Residents find not only a friendly employee ready to help during their move into the community, but also someone they can call a friend who will know them by name every time they’re in the leasing center or out in the community.
