Northridge Apartments Nearly Leased Up
The 402-unit Terrena mixed-used property, which is in the Northridge district of L.A., has nearly leased its multifamily component. The community consists of a mix of studio and one- and two-bedroom units, as well as about 14,000 square feet of retail space.

Los Angeles—The 402-unit Terrena mixed-used property, which is in the Northridge district of L.A., has nearly leased its multifamily component. The community consists of a mix of studio and one- and two-bedroom units, as well as about 14,000 square feet of retail space.
Amenities include a saltwater pool and spa, as well as the outdoor movie theater. The property also features a number of outdoor fireplaces with seating areas; barbeques with tables; and an indoor/outdoor clubhouse with a demonstration kitchen, game tables, billiards and ping pong.
Terrena has a number of green components, such as faucet aerators, low-water landscaping, and bike storage, and it was build using sustainable construction practices. In one case, the community is quite literally green, since it features a large component of edible landscaping for the residents to use, including on-site fruit trees and various vegetable and herb gardens.
Northridge is a northern neighborhood of Los Angeles, in the San Fernando Valley. Walk Score rates Northridge as Somewhat Walkable, with a Walk Score of 66 out of 100: some errands can be accomplished on foot. Its Bike Score is 61 out of 100, which is “Bikeable.”
Terrena is operated by Fairfield Residential Co., which specializes in apartment management and operates in about 40 markets nationwide. The property was designed by TCA Architects, a southern California firm that focuses on high-density residential properties.
