NorSouth Constructs and Fickling & Company Begin Work on Luxury Ga. Community
In a joint venture, NorSouth Constructs and Fickling & Company have started to develop Lullwater at Riverwood, a luxury apartment community in Evans, Ga., which is a submarket of Augusta/Richmond County.

Evans, Ga.—In a joint venture, NorSouth Constructs and Fickling & Company have started to develop Lullwater at Riverwood, a luxury apartment community in Evans, Ga., which is a submarket of Augusta/Richmond County.
“It is extremely gratifying to be involved in this exciting development as we embark on a longstanding partnership with Fickling & Company,” Colin Edelstein, director of NorSouth Constructs, says. “We look forward to this project and partnership setting the standard for this community and future work together.”
When completed, the garden-style community will include one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, with a total of 350 units. The apartments will include granite countertops, 9-foot ceilings with crown molding and walk-in closets.
“With our large, luxurious floor plans, lush landscaping and amenities normally associated with high end single family homes we expect to appeal to a more affluent resident who is a renter by choice,” Bobby Cleveland, vice president of Fickling & Company, tells MHN. “Additionally, our apartment homes are designed to meet Georgia Power’s ‘Earthcents’ certification for energy efficiency.”
Amenities for Lullwater at Riverwood include a pool with cabanas, an outdoor kitchen and fireplace, a clubhouse and a fitness center.
Additionally, a big draw for the residents is Lullwater at Riverwood’s proximity to Champions Retreat Golf Club.
The first phase of the community, which includes 212 units, is expected to be completed by the spring of 2014. The second phase is expected to be completed in the fall of 2014.
