Noble Storage Opens Southwest Florida Facility

Noble Storage has opened a 665-unit self storage facility in Bonita Springs, Fla. The property is part of the Space Shop Self Storage branded portfolio.
The 90,000 square-feet facility consists of a single three-story building on a 2-acre site. Amenities include 100 percent climate-controlled units, 24-hour security surveillance, drive-ups for certain units, indoor parking, lockers and on-site manager.
The facility is at 12721 Bonita Beach Road SE, in proximity to Interstate 75 and Route 93. The property is one of the five available on a 3-mile radius, offering residents 9.93 rentable square feet per capita. The closest self storage facility within the same branded portfolio is in one of Florida’s census-designated places, Lehigh Acres, some 26 miles northeast of Bonita Springs.
The southwest Florida coast market had 29 properties under construction at the end of October, set to add more than 2 million rentable square feet to the inventory, according to Yardi Matrix data.
As of the September, there were 3,418 self storage properties in different stages of development nationwide, a recent report by the same data provider shows. From this total number of developments, only 859 were under construction, while the others were either prospective properties or planned projects.
