Alside has released a new trim system for installing and replacing vinyl windows, which can save up to 20 to 40 minutes of installation time per window and eliminates the need for special equipment, cutting skills or training. Trimworks with SwiftLock Technology is designed for the Mezzo Full-Frame Replacement System, featuring a high-performing, thin-line frame for high energy efficiency and maximum viewable glass.

The system also includes a nailing flange integral to the window frame, which provides for proper flashing and water management, and a series of decorative window accents for trimming out the new window. The traditional to contemporary designs include brickmould in 1.5-inch and 3/4-inch sizes; 3.5-inch flat casing either four-sided or with bullnose sill; and flushmount for masonry openings.

The decorative accents are fabricated at the same time the window is made to ensure an exact color match and secure fit. Mezzo is available in 13 color options that feature a polyurethane coating technology with heat-reflective pigments for a strong, fade-resistant finish.
