the morrisLMC has begun preleasing on the Morris Apartments, a luxury mixed-use community with 344 apartment homes and 6,000 square feet of ground-floor retail, in Nashville, Tenn., with occupancy expected for the summer.

The multifamily portion of the development offers studio, one- and two-bedroom units, and feature high-level, condo finishes, such as stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, in-home washers and dryers and luxury wood-like flooring.

The development is located at 818 19th Ave., on the historic Music Row, just southwest of downtown, at what was once the office of legendary country music manager Dale Morris. The iconic manager had a stable of clients that included Kenny Chesney, Alabama, Martina McBride and Old Dominion.

“It’s an honor that LMC named an apartment community after me, particularly one that so perfectly reflects the beauty and artistry of an industry I dedicated my life to,” Morris said. “Music Row obviously has special meaning for me, and it’s humbling to know that my name will continue to be attached to the location for the foreseeable future.”

Community amenities in the pet-friendly development include a rooftop club with pool, fitness center, clubroom and skyline views of Music City. There’s also an outdoor terrace on the seventh floor that offer grilling stations, a pet spa and bike parking and repair station. There’s also a professional recording studio and rooftop performance stage, in honor of Morris.

“It’s not often that you have the opportunity to truly honor a local icon with an apartment community, and we cannot think of many who are more respected in Nashville than Dale,” Chris Cassidy, LMC’s divisional president of the Southeast Region, said. “We believe this community will make him proud and be a stellar addition to Music Row and the City of Nashville.”

The development is located within walking distance of Vanderbilt University, The Gulch and downtown, with plenty of restaurant, retail and entertainment options nearby. Among the attractions close by are the Tennessee Performing Arts Center, The Pantheon, Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park, Bridgestone Arena and Nissan Stadium.

The community is also convenient to key thoroughfares, such as Interstates 65, 40 and 24.
