New Jersey Apartment Association Charitable Fund Awards $6K in Scholarship Grants

The New Jersey Apartment Association Charitable Fund (NJAA Charitable Fund) awarded four $1,500 scholarships for undergraduate education, one to an NJAA member employee and three to dependents of NJAA member employees.

Monroe Township, N.J.—The New Jersey Apartment Association Charitable Fund (NJAA Charitable Fund) awarded four $1,500 scholarships for undergraduate education, one to an NJAA member employee and three to dependents of NJAA member employees. The NJAA Charitable Fund received 17 applications for the scholarship grants, which were made available to NJAA employees and members, their dependents, and residents of NJAA member properties.

The four winners were Danielle Stepien of Robbinsville, Julia Cazan of Sicklerville, William Hendra of Freehold, and Christina Rubino of Marlton.

2012 is the eighth year that the NJAA Charitable Fund has been awarding scholarships to the NJAA community. To date they have granted $37.5K to support the educational goals of 24 individuals.

All grants were awarded for the 2012-13 academic year. Scholarship recipients were evaluated by Scholarship Management Services, a third-party company not affiliated with the NJAA or the NJAA Charitable Fund.
