ND Student Housing Nears Completion

The Bridges, which is being developed by PROffutt and will be managed by Greystar Student Living, will include 364 beds and serve the students of North Dakota State University of Agriculture and Applied Sciences.

The Bridges, an off-campus student housing community currently underway in Fargo, N.D., has opened its leasing center at 1601 N. University Dr. Prospective residents can now schedule hard-hat tours, visit a mini-model, review floor plans, preview amenities and reserve a unit.

The 364-bed apartment community is being developed by PROffutt LP and managed by Greystar Student Living. The property will offer one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments ranging from 811 square feet to 1379 square feet, with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and plank wood-style flooring in the units.

Common amenities will include a clubhouse with lounge areas and flat screen TVs, a business center, private study rooms, computer lab with wireless printing capabilities, a fitness center, WellBeats on demand fitness classes, cyber café and an automated convenience store. Also, students will have access to an outdoor kitchen with grilling stations, fireplace, a recreational area, bike storage and underground parking.

Serving North Dakota State Students

The Bridges will serve students who attend North Dakota State University of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, whose 258-acre campus is across University Dr. from the development. Currently more than 14,300 students attend the school.

The university has 15 residence halls and three apartment communities, housing more than 4,300 students on campus, so there is demand for off-campus housing.

“The community offers more than a place to live,” said Michelle Fuller, managing director of Greystar Student Living. “We focus on the needs of a college student by providing an environment that supports their need to learn and live a healthy lifestyle.”
