Long Island City, N.Y.–The official launch of sales has taken place at FIVE FortyOne, a luxury boutique condominium in Long Island City. Residential brokerage Modern Spaces is bringing FIVE FortyOne to the market. New York-based real estate company Ascent Development is developing the property.
“Five FortyOne is perfect for a buyer looking for a house and the feeling of a true home,” Jennifer Dorfmann, executive vice president and managing director of sales at Modern Spaces, tells MHN. “The building offers three bedrooms with additional office areas [and] large outdoor spaces in a smaller, more intimate setting. And when you step inside the apartments, you really have the feeling of walking into a house.
“A number of the buyers who are coming to see the building live in Long Island City. They are quickly outgrowing their apartments. These buyers are torn because they would love to stay in the area. The schools are great, [and] they want to raise their growing families here, but really want to live in a house. FIVE FortyOne is appealing because this space is ready for occupancy, complete and beautifully designed.”
The three-residence FIVE FortyOne offers one duplex and a pair of triplex homes ranging in size from 1,600 square feet to 2,040 square feet. The demographics of buyers visiting FIVE FortyOne suggest the neighborhood has become attractive to prospective buyers who aren’t young professionals or couples. “Offering two- and three-bedroom homes provides an opportunity for families to stay in a great, vibrant area and enjoy all Long Island City has to offer,” Dorfmann says.
