MedCore Acquires Dallas Senior Living Community

MedCore Partners has acquired The Grove on Forest Lane, an 86-unit senior housing community in North Dallas. MedCore is planning to renovate the property, with Senior by Design and a soon to-be-named general contractor in charge of the renovation process.

Formerly known as The Avenues on Park Forest, the property features 70 assisted living and 16 memory care residences. MedCore is planning both exterior and interior renovations, unit amenities enhancements and common-area upgrades.

Located at 3344 Forest Lane, the community is close to Interstate 635 and Interstate 35E. There are multiple retail spaces, dining options and entertainment venues in the proximity, such as Frog Pond Water Park at Farmers Branch and ICR Discovery Center. Green areas like Gussie Field Watterworth Park, Oran Good Park and Webb Chapel Park are within a 2.5-mile radius from the property. The community’s central location, close to hospital systems and recreational areas, provides a steady value enhancement and occupancy growth potential.

MedCore currently operates 19 senior living communities nationwide in Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Utah, Nevada, California, Washington and Oregon.
