Acoya Scottsdale at Troon, a 135-unit, luxury senior living community developed by a joint venture of Ryan Cos. US Inc., Cadence Living and Starwood Capital Group, has opened in Scottsdale, Ariz. The property offers assisted and independent living options.

Located at 10455 E. Pinnacle Peak Parkway, Acoya is roughly 32 miles northeast of downtown Phoenix. The 6-acre parcel sits between Pinnacle Peak and Troon Mountain, with several golf clubs nearby.

The community offers 22 different floorplans, ranging between 585 and 2,385 square feet. Ryan Cos. was the architect and contractor, while Thoma-Holec Design was in charge of interior design. Cadence Living will also act as manager of the community.

The sloping topography of the site led to the creation of multiple terraces and entrances. Garden-level community amenities include a theatre, fitness and music room, salon and spa. The first floor accommodates a bistro, dining venues, an art therapy room and library. A resort-style pool, game room and rooftop patio are among the property’s other amenities.

Back in 2019, Ryan Cos. was also part of the joint venture that developed the Circa Central Avenue community in Phoenix. Earlier this year, PrivatePortfolio Group acquired the newly built residential community in a $58 million deal.
