By Anuradha Kher, Online News EditorPhoenix–Trillium Residential LLC recently opened Trillium Pinnacle Peak, its newest rental project in Phoenix. Pinnacle Peak is a 724-unit Class A garden-style apartment community located on 30-acres at 24250 North 23rd Ave. “We anticipate high demand for this apartment community because of the market demand,” David Dewar, principal of Trillium Residential, tells MHN. “The infill market in Phoenix is very strong. The peripheral market is the ones that’s not doing too well and unfortunately the news is only focusing on that.”The area currently has 44,500 jobs and is expecting at least 32,000 additional jobs within 15 years, according to Dewar. Major employers within five miles of Pinnacle Peak include Honeywell, American Express, USAA Insurance, the headquarters for PETsMart and Best Western, as well as one of the largest medical facilities in the metropolitan area, John C. Lincoln Hospital.Move-ins are expected to begin mid-September. Trillium Pinnacle Peak features one-, two- and three-bedroom units ranging from 746 to 1,497 sq. ft. with patios and balconies providing expansive common area views. Floor plans offer dining rooms, spacious walk-in closets, kitchens with entertaining islands, as well as GE appliances, wood replicated flooring, raised panel cabinetry and 7-in. deep sinks. In addition, the project offers a 11,000-sq.-ft. luxury clubhouse, which includes a professional chef’s demonstration kitchen with stainless steel Wolf and Viking appliances and hand-selected granite, as well as guest chef appearances, cooking lessons and sushi rolling starting early next year. The community also hosts complimentary classes for residents at Trillium’s inaugural spinning room and its Yoga/Pilates studio. The clubhouse, known as the Great Room, also includes a spa for massages and facials, 27-seat private cinema with 120-in. screen and Dolby surround-sound stereo, as well as gaming systems such as Xbox, Nintendo Wii and PlayStation.Other amenities include two resort-style pools, stainless steel built-in barbecue kitchens, water playground with water cannons and private “Zen Garden” courtyard. Rents range from the upper $800’s to upper $1,400s.“Rents have remained the same, with slight increases in some of our other properties in this neighborhood,” adds Dewar. The community is within walking distance from the 300,000-sq.-ft. Shops at Norterra and a short drive to other retail hubs such as Desert Ridge Marketplace, Arrowhead Towne Center and ScottsdaleOne.  “We are touting our project as a place from where people can access shopping, restaurants and entertainment within walking distance,” says Dewar.
