Madison Investments has opened Elysium Logan, a luxury condominium development in central Washington, D.C. The property comprises 32 apartments, seven of which offer private elevator access, while three are penthouse units with rooftop decks.

The community is located in Logan Circle at 1427 Rhode Island Ave. N.W., in close proximity to dining, leisure and entertainment facilities, while a Whole Foods Market is just across the street. Lafayette Square and Franklin Square are both within a 15-minute walk of the site.

Elysium Logan provides one-bedroom, two-bedroom and two-bedroom plus den apartments, ranging from 550 square feet to 2,400 square feet. Prices of one-bedroom units are between $469,900 and $574,900, while the two-bedroom homes are being sold for roughly $1.3 to $1.9 million. The duplex penthouses provide more than 2,000 square feet, with prices ranging from $2.1 to $3.1 million. At the official opening, the property was more than 60 percent sold.

PGN Architects and Akseizer Design Group were in charge of the design. The community includes premium concierge services, like laundry, house sitting or dog walking. The luxury apartments feature:

  • hardwood floors by Kährs
  • oversized windows
  • dual walk-in closets
  • finishes by Poggenpohl
  • high-end appliances

Last June, J Street Cos. acquired a site just 0.8 miles west from Elysium Logan, in the Dupond Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C., with the intention of developing a nine-unit luxury condo building.
