A ribbon-cutting grand opening in Washington, D.C.’s Dupont Circle has heralded the world debut of Ampeer, a new brand of exclusive turnkey luxury residences.
Unveiled in the former Patterson Mansion, Ampeer will deliver a total of 92 individually designed residences, along with communal living spaces that spur social exchanges, dedicated food and drink service, events programming and even the provision of linens and glassware personally selected by members of Ampeer’s design contingent.
The brand targets transient professionals certain to embrace the fact Ampeer offers not just a lease but opportunities for socialization as well.
Ampeer is located within steps of scores of cultural institutions and fine dining establishments. Even as its launch takes place in Washington, D.C., plans are in the works to bring Ampeer to more cosmopolitan cities worldwide.
Capital idea
Many high-income, well-traveled professionals arrive to work in the nation’s capital for extended periods of time. Ampeer caters to such individuals, desiring a more welcoming environment than might be provided by a hotel or corporate housing. Within this setting, they have a chance to enjoy social programming and community events, and gather within communal spaces to engage with others.
Ampeer’s public spaces are designed to offer residents the best of all worlds. They are offered beverages and complimentary hors d’oeuvres in the ballroom, and complimentary breakfast in the dining room, and they can study and work in the library.
Additionally, there is a state-of-the-art fitness center, 24-hour concierge service and bike and car-share memberships.
“We wanted to create a residential community that was about more than just a place to rest your head,” said Frank Saul, founder and CEO of Saul Urban, which co-developed the brand with Rooney Properties. “Our vision for Ampeer was to provide residents with opportunities to connect inside and outside the building. Through our inviting common spaces, morning breakfast and evening drinks and hors d’oeuvres, residents are able to connect with their peers, while our dedicated team of lifestyle associates and diverse lineup of programming provide them access and connection to the city.”
