The master planned community—which surrounds and includes Angel Stadium, Honda Center and The Grove of Anaheim—will be served by the Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), which KTGY is also involved in planning and designing.According to David Senden, principal at KTGY and the lead designer on 1818 Platinum Triangle, the target demographic for the project is “renters-by-choice because the rents are at a level where you could possibly own somewhere else.” He says renters at 1818 Platinum Triangle are those “who want to be in this area and want to be part of this new energy that’s been created here.”The five-story 1818 Platinum Triangle features one- and two-bedroom apartments ranging in size from 758 sq. ft. to 1,328 sq. ft.  Residences include gourmet kitchens with granite countertops, custom European-style cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and under-mount sinks with travertine backsplashes, as well as bathrooms with marble slab countertops and soaking tubs. All homes also include terraces or balconies.Amenities include a multi-level clubhouse that features a media lounge, gaming room, private screening room, a catering kitchen, library, executive conference room, fitness center, a dual-entrance subterranean parking garage and three landscaped courtyards with double-sided fireplaces. In addition, 1818 Platinum Triangle offers a Rooftop Sky Lounge with a resort-style heated pool, cabanas, outdoor kitchens, grilling area and dining lanais.  “The amount of luxury in the project is something that is unique to rental projects in the area,” notes Senden.Additional multifamily projects that have been completed in the Platinum Triangle include the 250-unit Avalon Anaheim Stadium and Stadium Lofts, a 390-unit condominium project developed by San Diego-based Windstar Communities LLC.
