Common area kitchens are becoming an increasingly important amenity, especially for the current generation of renters that sometimes seek to entertain in house rather than out on the town. While functionality is certainly important, this common space also presents a wonderful opportunity to make a design statement and win over prospective residents. Italian furniture design group Snaidero is definitely in the top tier of firms creating ‘wow spaces’. Snaidero has a kitchen for every type of building, and can create a product that is as unique as your property. Their newly released prototypes show just how beautiful and efficient kitchen can be.
If you are looking for a modern kitchen with a green mentality check out Lux, an environmentally-friendly solution designed by Italian designer Pietro Arosio. The scheme includes an island range with a stainless steel extractor hood that uses ionization tech to ensure better air quality. The modular glass shelves have efficient LED bars that illuminate both the counter tops and prepping areas.
If a more traditional kitchen is what you are looking for, then check to Idea, a cabinet line that received a major update in celebrating its 40 years of existence. Though the handle-less design has been around for four decades, it is still an extremely contemporary design thanks to its minimalist clean lines. Idea40, as the new line is being called, is a discreet design that still manages to fill a large space and keep things personal for the user. The kitchen even incorporates a receptacle to grow an herb garden on the kitchen island. Talk about innovative convenience.
While examining the design consortium it is important to note that Snaidero designs can be incorporated into units if your property is looking to go beyond the luxury apartment standard. Board, another design from Pietro Arosio, can bring a full kitchen into an extremely compact space, such as a studio apartment in an urban infill project. This smart kitchen centers on a suspended operating structure that extends from the wall units. Board is available in over 100 color and finish options, so the kitchen can be tailored to either pop, or blend in with the rest of the unit.
