LMC Tops Out Seattle Luxury Community
Comprising two 32-story towers, the upscale property is projected to welcome its first residents in early 2022.
Ovation, a mixed-use luxury community has topped off in downtown Seattle. The two-story LMC development is a collaboration between JTM Construction, Perkins + Will architects and equity partner QuadReal. The property is expected to start leasing in early 2022.
Ovation’s two 32-story towers will encompass 548-units in a combination of one- and two-bedroom apartments and studios. The property will include 6,000 square feet of retail and a 9,000-square-foot outdoor plaza, which is located at the northwest corner of the block adjacent to Town Hall, and will include a water feature.
The developer’s collaborative process with the First Hill Improvement Association, Town Hall, and the Freeway Park Association has created a superior pedestrian experience across the entire block — seamless transitions to the park and to downtown, which makes for easy access to some of the most desirable Seattle office space locations..
Residents will have access to a gym, coworking area, dog run and bike station, as well as a pool on the west tower, a play area, grilling stations and lounges, all totaling 17,400 square feet of amenities.
Located at 1101 8th Ave. in the First Hill neighborhood, the community site is within walking distance of the Frye Art Museum, the Seattle University and the Pike Pine Retail Core. Several hospitals and medical centers are also in the area.
The property, which broke ground in 2019, is LMC’s more recent addition to its Seattle-area portfolio. Earlier this year, the company opened The Bower, a 339-unit community in Kirkland, Wash. Several other LMC multifamily properties are underway across the metro.
