LMC Begins Leasing at Suburban Chicago Community

The Fynn, a contemporary apartment community developed by LMC in the near west Chicago suburb of Elmhurst, Ill., has commenced leasing. Situated at 183 N. Addison Ave. in the suburb’s historic downtown district, The Fynn is an eight-story, mid-rise a few blocks from Elmhurst’s Metra commuter rail station, with service to Chicago’s Loop.

The Fynn features 212 apartments in a mix of studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts ranging from 565 to 1,745 square feet in size. Features and finishes of the residences include floor-to-ceiling windows, wood-style flooring, two-toned cabinetry, pendant lighting and oversized tubs and closets. A resort-inspired pool with poolside cabanas is among the community’s most high-profile amenities.

In addition to its proximity to the commuter rail line offering 30-minute commutes to downtown Chicago, The Fynn offers an array of other locational upsides. Access to interstates 290 and 294 is less than 3 miles away, giving residents the opportunity to easily motor to every corner of the Chicago area.

The vibrant neighborhood along the North York Corridor features more than 275 merchants, many of them independently-owned, and more than 40 dining options. The Fynn is the seventh Chicagoland apartment community developed by LMC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lennar Corp. The leasing office opened March 1 and first move-ins are slated for April 15. Last week, LMC kicked off leasing at its new Miami-area apartment community in Doral, Fla.
