Lincoln Ventures has completed Moontower, a 204,552-square-foot student housing community in Austin, Texas. This represents the company’s seventh University of Texas student housing development.
The 562-bed community comprises studio, two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom units. Amenities at the 18-story asset include a spin studio, gym, rooftop pool, conference rooms and study booths. Moontower is designed to meet all health and safety needs, featuring daily temperature checks, color-coded wristbands, strict social distancing measures and ample hand sanitizers. The property is also adapted for online learning. The asset was designed by Chelsea Kloss Interiors, JE Dunn and Gensler.
Located at 2204 San Antonio St., the high-rise is within walking distance of The University of Texas. Moontower is 1 mile from downtown Austin and 10 miles from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
In 2019, the Lincoln selected Campus Advantage to manage the property. Last month, the management company started handling leasing and day-to-day operations at a student housing development in Orlando, Fla. The 456-bed community is scheduled for completion in 2021.
