Lexington Luxury Community Makes Waves

Dobbins Group leads the development of The Summit At Fritz Farm, a $44 million apartment development.

SFF Render15Birmingham, Ala.—Dobbins Group LLC announced the development of The Summit at Fritz Farm, a $44 million luxury apartment community anchored by Whole Foods. The top-tier property will raise the bar of Lexington’s multifamily developments in the area and satisfy the high demand for luxurious lifestyles.

“Dobbins Group is truly bringing a new standard of luxury to Lexington. The fresh design of this mixed-use environment is already creating buzz and will be unlike anything else. We are excited to be partnering with other Birmingham companies to develop The Summit at Fritz Farm,” Bill Dobbins, managing principal of Dobbins Group, told MHN.

SFF Render8Dobbins will partner with Bayer Properties on the master plan portion for The Summit at Fritz Farm. Bayer is proud to have the property as their newest portfolio addition. Capstone Building Corp. will serve as the general contractor on the project.

The Summit will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom homes and will be rich in amenities. The 306-unit multifamily development will be state-of-the-art and feature 111 units in three buildings above street level retail and 195 units in two standalone buildings. With more than 3 million square feet of retail space within one and a half miles, the site is the last large developable tract within the urban area. In addition the property, located on the corner of Man O’ War Boulevard and Nicholasville Road, will be walking distance to neighborhood stores and restaurants targeted towards Lexington’s millennials.

Construction is expected to begin before the end of this year.
