Levin Johnston of Marcus & Millichap has arranged the sale of Park Plaza, a 49-unit community in San Bruno, Calif., for $23 million. Executive Managing Director Adam Levin and Senior Managing Director Robert Johnston represented the seller and the buyer, two private investors.

Located at 2081 Whitman Way on a 1.3-acre lot, the property is alongside Interstate 280, within 6 miles of the San Francisco International Airport and around 15 miles from downtown San Francisco. The area provides access to shopping and dining options at Bayhill Shopping Center. Additionally, the community is less than one mile from YouTube’s current headquarters.

Constructed in 1964, the building features a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom units. The apartments have recently been upgraded and feature designer finishes, dual-pane windows, improved kitchens, hard flooring, designer paint and private balconies. Community amenities include private subterranean parking, an elevator, private storage, on-site laundry facility and security cameras.

Last December, Levin Johnston advised the buyer to offer $40.5 million for a townhome community in Mountain View, Calif.
