Lendlease, Related Midwest Celebrate Topping Out of Landmark West Loop

Chicago—Lendlease and Related Midwest recently celebrated the topping out of the new 30-story residential tower, Landmark West Loop. Located at 1035 W. Van Buren St., the 442,845-square-foot property features 300 luxury apartments and associated parking.
The property’s unit mix consists of studios, convertibles, one-, two- and three-bedrooms, with sizes ranging from 500 to 2,000 square feet and rents starting at $1,650 and going as high as $4,595 per month.
Designed by Morris Adjmi Architects, the building includes amenities such as a pool house, spa, private cabanas, fire pits, grilling stations or a private dog run. Additionally, residents can enjoy access to a game room, a demonstration kitchen, a private library, a fitness center or the Community Supported Agriculture program, as well as a complimentary one-year membership with Chicago’s Divvy bike-share program for residents signing a one-year lease.
“As work on the tower continues, we’ve already started pre-leasing and are thrilled by the response from prospective residents, many of whom have been waiting for this level of luxury rental housing to come to the West Loop and Illinois Medical District,” said Don Biernacki, Related Midwest senior vice president, construction.
Located along the Eisenhower Expressway, Landmark is less than two blocks from UIC-Halsted station and in the vicinity of various restaurants, bars or supermarkets, including Tanta Chicago or Gene & Georgetti Restaurant.
Related Midwest, a Chicago-based construction management firm, also announced last year its plans to turn a 62-acre site in Chicago’s South Loop into a mixed-use development.
