LCB Senior Living Opens Boston-Area Senior Community
The developer broke ground on the 90-unit assisted living and memory care facility in 2018.

LCB Senior Living has opened The Residence at Penniman Hill, a 90-unit luxury community providing assisted living and memory care services in Hingham, Mass.
The developer broke ground in 2018 on the project, which was designed by The Architectural Team Inc., with Callahan Construction Managers serving as general contractor. Callahan is also part of the development team bringing online one of the largest residential projects underway in metro Boston.
Located at 276 Whiting St. on the site of the former Penniman Hill Farm, the 90,000-square-foot, three-story building comprises studio, one- and two-bedroom units. The NGBS Silver-certified facility has a wide range of amenities, including an activity room, beauty salon, café, bistro and memory garden. Services offered include complimentary transportation, personalized wellness plan and medicine management, as well as social, educational, recreational and cultural activities.
The 5.3-acre property is some 19 miles southeast of downtown Boston, less than a mile from the Derby Street Shoppes in Hingham. South Shore Hospital and South Shore Medical Center are both within a 5-mile radius of the senior community.
