New York—The first phase of Lightstone’s 700-unit multifamily residential development along the Gowanus Canal in Brooklyn was officially topped off.
365 Bond features a 24-hour concierge doorman, indoor valet parking, a fitness center with yoga and spin room, a garden courtyard, and a game room with a variety of recreational activities. Other amenities include a library, residence lounge, private dining with gourmet chef’s kitchen and a children’s playroom. The building will showcase multiple exterior rooftop terraces with 360 degree panoramic views, cabanas, barbecues and dining areas. Lightstone is creating a publicly accessible waterfront esplanade park that will have a boat launch and water access point. The waterfront park will feature outdoor learning centers highlighting the history of the Gowanus Canal.
365 Bond units will contain custom Italian kitchens with Quartz countertops and wide plank white oak hardwood floors. Each residence will be furnished with state-of-the-art Bosch appliances, including in-unit washers and dryers and Kohler and Symmons fixtures.
The new community is situated nearby many of New York’s best restaurants, bars, boutiques and cultural entertainment. It also has easy access to the F, R and G trains.
“We’re pleased to have topped-off our project in Gowanus, and are very excited to bring this residential community and Public Park to the neighborhood. We believe this is a transformative project in the growth of Gowanus,” said Mitchell Hochberg, president of Lightstone. “We look forward to welcoming residents in early 2016.”
