JV to Develop 236-Unit DC Community
Fort Lincoln New Town Corp., The Concordia Group and Buvermo Investments plan a Class A project that will include 36 affordable units.

A partnership between Fort Lincoln New Town Corp., The Concordia Group and Buvermo Investments Inc., began construction of a 236-unit community in Washington, D.C. The project features 200 market-rate and 36 affordable apartments. McCullough Construction is the general contractor, while Eagle Bank provides construction financing. Hickok Cole Architects is the project architect and was also involved in designing F1RST, another apartment community in Washington, D.C.
Located at 3750 Jamison St. N.E., the four- to five-story project will be built adjacent to a green forested buffer and is scheduled to deliver in 2019. The community will include:
- underground parking
- fitness center
- yoga room
- co-working lounge
- conference room facilities
- resident lounge
- rooftop lounge
- dog-washing station
- 10,000-square-foot courtyard
Public-private partnership
Fort Lincoln New Town is located on 360 acres on high rolling land on the edge of the District of Columbia. The development of Fort Lincoln New Town is a public-private partnership and is guided by an Urban Renewal Plan. Fort Lincoln New Town also includes The Shops at Dakota Crossing and The Villages at Dakota Crossing.
“To build a Class A apartment complex as one of the final components is especially gratifying since it completes the community of townhomes, senior living and shopping enjoyed by all Fort Lincoln residents,” said Fort Lincoln New Town Corp. President Michele Hagans, in a prepared statement.
