JV Buys 432-Bed TX Community
Campus First Student Living and CF Real Estate Services are planning major renovations at the 120-unit student housing community, including upgrading the fitness center equipment and adding private study areas, an outdoor kitchen and other landscaping improvements.

Campus First Student Living, together with CF Real Estate Services LLC, has acquired Midtown at Denton, a 432-bed student housing community in Denton, Texas. Campus First plans to change the name of the property to Midtown 905.
Located at 905 Cleveland St., one mile from the University of North Texas, the off-campus community is close to various shopping, dining and restaurant venues, such as Rockin’ Rodeo, Hooligan’s, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop and 940’s Kitchen and Cocktails. Built in 2011, Midtown 905 offers a total of 120 units with two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts.
The pet-friendly community offers in-unit features such as a washer/dryer, black appliances, kitchen islands, Wi-Fi, desks, walk-in closets and hardwood flooring. Property amenities include:
- 24-hour fitness center
- 24-hour business center
- swimming pool
- clubhouse with lounge
- stand-up tanning facilities
- picnic/grilling area
- game room with billiards table and shuffleboard
The companies plan to renovate the community by upgrading the equipment in the fitness center, adding private study areas and music rooms, improving the leasing office and clubhouse, the dog park, outdoor kitchen, additional carports and some additional landscaping improvements. As part of the capital improvement plan, Campus First will be completing 100 units of VIP suites, which include granite countertops, subway tile backsplashes, new grey faux wood flooring, upgraded modern furniture package and upgrading lighting.
