The joint venture purchased The Domain at Town Centre, which includes 336 units and is located near West Virginia University and Fairmont State University.

TSB Realty LLC has closed the sale of The Domain at Town Centre, a 912-bed student housing property serving West Virginia University in Morgantown, W. Va. A joint venture between Greystar and The Carlyle Group acquired the asset. The deal comes after Greystar purchased Indigo at Twelve West, a Class A multifamily community in Portland, Ore.’s West End submarket, on behalf of its real estate funds.
Located at 5000 Domain Drive, the property is situated adjacent to University Town Centre and just a few minutes from West Virginia University and Fairmont State University. The Domain at Town Centre features a mix of common-area amenities such as:

- arcade games
- outdoor firepit
- bicycle parking
- sand volleyball court
- computer lounge
- fitness center
- private study rooms
- clubhouse
- basketball court
- stand-up tanning booths
The pet-friendly community offers 336 one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom fully furnished units with washer/dryers, private bathrooms, flat screen TVs in every living room, granite countertops and walk-in closets.
“The Domain at Town Centre provides residents with top-of-the-market amenities all within close proximity to a multitude of dining and shopping options,” Broker Randall Calvert, who handled the deal for TSB Realty, said in a prepared statement.
