Joseph J. Barbaccia Appointed as Director of Essential New York Real Estate
Essential New York Real Estate has just tapped Manhattan real estate veteran Joseph J. Barbacci
New York–The ATCO family of companies’ residential division—Essential New York Real Estate—has just hired Manhattan real estate veteran, Joseph J. Barbaccia, as its new director. In this role, Barbaccia will oversee all leasing and sales activity for the company, and expand its business in sectors such as corporate relocation, hospitality and extended stay solutions, and onsite leasing.
Barbaccia is the former owner of residential boutique firm, Joseph Gregory, Inc., which specialized in corporate relocation and extended stay apartments.
Previously with Prudential Douglas Elliman, Barbaccia has sold and rented thousands of apartments throughout his real estate career, and was formerly the exclusive rental agent and manager of tenant services at the Cambridge Club, the Financial District’s first extended stay facility. Under his tenure, the entire building was leased within 72 hours of going on the market to Salomon Smith Barney and Lehman Brothers. Barbaccia has also worked as the primary residential agent for Chase Manhattan Bank, Barclays Bank, The McGraw-Hill Companies and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
