Joint Venture Picks Up Solero at Plantation Community
A 481-unit gated residential community, Solero at Plantation traded hands recently in a transaction mediated by CBRE.

Plantation, Fla.— Solero at Plantation, a 481-unit gated residential community, was acquired for an undisclosed price from Invesco. A joint venture between AEW and Grand Peaks purchased the asset in a deal arranged by a CBRE team led by Vice Chairman Robert Given, Senior Vice President Zachary Sackley and Senior Financial Analyst Neal Victor. Financial terms of the transaction remained undisclosed.
Located on more than 48 acres at 13500 NW 3rd St. in Plantation, the property features 43 town home buildings and 11 garden-style buildings. The site provides quick access to Interstates 595, 75 and 95 as well as the Sawgrass Expressway and Florida’s Turnpike for connectivity to all of South Florida, including downtown Fort Lauderdale, surrounding business districts, and the South Florida Education Center.
Built in 2010, the property offers one-, two- and three-bedroom floorplans with direct-access garages in select units. Amenities include two large lakes with a fountain, a resort-style pool with beach entry and WiFi, a second pool with a cabana, gated entrance, a 7,400-square-foot clubhouse, a media lounge, 24-hour fitness center, playground, dog park, business center, and club room.
