A new series of LED lighting from i-lighting™ offers an easy-to-install and nearly invisible solution for under cabinet and under railing lighting.
Apartments are not known for having great lighting. Even when residents are presented with the luxury of in-ceiling architectural lighting, floor and table lamps are still necessary for the odd corners of darkness. One area that never seems to get enough light is the kitchen, the only place where the renter is handling sharp objects on a regular basis. This is one example where an aesthetic issue is also a safety issue. Another would be railing and stairs in your indoor and outdoor amenity spaces.
A new series of LED lighting from i-lighting™ offers an easy-to-install and nearly invisible solution for under cabinet and railing lighting. Known as iluma, the collection features Easy Plug™ micro-connectors that plug together for an easy installation that takes about half the time of traditional lighting.
The iluma under cabinet lighting can be used both indoors and outdoors, and comes with either clear white or warm yellow LEDs in stock lengths or customized lengths to meet your community’s needs. The lighting is designed in either 10mm strips for countertops or 5mm strips that work great for smaller areas like toe kicks, shelving, display cases and overhands.
The rail lighting works on vinyl, aluminum, composite and wood railing, and creates a nearly invisible downlighting effect. The 5mm design is available for 4 foot, 6 foot and 8 foor kits and can be customized for your individual needs.
LED spotlights in the system us 80 percent less energy than incandescent bulbs and are rated for 12-plus years of operation if used 24/7. In addition, i-lighting™ has plans to introduce a new dimmer system for the under cabinet and under railing lighting in the upcoming moths.
