HK Organization Begins Marketing Brooklyn Adaptive Reuse

Developer HK Organization has tapped REAL New York as the exclusive brokerage team for its Brooklyn boutique apartment building, 99 Gold St. The rental property is an adaptive reuse of a one-time factory that manufactured toys. HK Organization converted the building into a residential community four years ago. It benefits from a location in Brooklyn’s lively Vinegar Hill neighborhood, situated along the East River waterfront.
The apartment building features 87 loft apartments, in a blend of studios and one- and two-bedroom residences. Features and finishes include high ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, central air conditioning and the factory’s original details. Many of the rental building’s large apartments feature home offices, as well as outdoor spaces such as balconies or terraces. Such features have proven particularly popular during the pandemic’s onslaught, helping spur robust leasing activity during the past 12 months.
