High-End Asset Breaks Ground in LA
Urban Architecture Lab began work on Variel Apartments, a 277-unit luxury property in Canoga Park’s Warner Center. The project will be completed in the fall of 2019.

Variel Apartments, a 277-unit community in Canoga Park’s Warner Center has reached a new milestone. Urban Architecture Lab has managed to pull construction permits, and announced the groundbreaking of the seven-story luxury apartment building, located at 6606 N. Variel Ave. The project will be completed in the fall of 2019.
Variel Apartments also features four work-live units and underground parking. The property is in the heart of Warner Center, one block from the Orangeline Bus Expressway at Variel Avenue. The apartments will have several high-tech features and state-of-the-art amenities, such as:
- Resort-style pool and spa
- Fitness room
- Yoga center
- Boxing area
- Internet lounge
- Pet wash
- Bicycle kitchen
- Rooftop barbeque terraces
- Outdoor community kitchen
- Café
“Warner Center is near capacity with high demand for new housing amidst a huge expansion of regional mall and office space creating strong job growth, which bodes well for this asset’s investment performance in the long term,” according to the website of Evolution Strategic Partners, the project’s developer.
