Hickok Cole Architects Awarded ‘Firm of the Year’

Washington, D.C.—At the AIA|DC Chapter’s 125th anniversary party on November 2, Hickok Cole received the “Firm of the Year” honor award from the Washington Architectural Foundation. The community service award recognized Hickok Cole’s contributions to the new District Architecture Center, which allows the Foundation to reach the public more than ever before. Hickok Cole Architects won an open design competition held by AIA|DC, resulting in a project that emphasizes light, transparency, and a connection with the city befitting the Center’s prominent Penn Quarter location.
