HFF Arranges $34M for Georgia Student Housing

Called The Hamptons, the student housing is a 668-bed, cottage-style development serving the public research institution Georgia Southern University.

Working exclusively on behalf of IMS Development, HFF secured the 10-year, fixed-rate loan through a national bank. Director Jeremy Sain led the HFF debt placement team.

The Hamptons was delivered last year. The gated community features 117 Tudor-style cottages, offering two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom floor plans. In addition, there are 120 residential apartment-style flats with one and two-bedroom configurations.

All cottages and flats offer washers and dryers, private bathrooms for each bedroom, walk-in closets, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops.

A 10,000-square-foot clubhouse with café, resort-style swimming pool with 80-yard lazy river, business center, resident study room, fitness center, steam rooms, cardio room with Fitness on Demand, game room, bicycle rentals and tanning beds are highlights on the list of amenities provided at The Hamptons.

Also featured in the amenity selection are a sand volleyball court, bocce ball court, two dog parks and separate study lounge. Situated near the corner of South Main Street and Rucker Lane in Statesboro, The Hamptons puts campus within walking distance.

The Hamptons is also located near an array of additional attractions in Statesboro, Ga. They include Charles H. Herty Pines Nature Preserve, W. Jones Lane Memorial Park, Clements Stadium, Beautiful Eagle Creek, the Georgia Southern Botanic Gardens, Georgia Southern Museum and Forest Heights Country Club.
