New York—Douglas Elliman Development Marketing has announced that leasing has started at the new 12-story Cassa Hotel and Residences in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York. The luxury boutique rental and hotel offers 108 residences ranging from studio to three-bedroom apartments. Douglass Elliman is exclusively handling all leasing and marketing on behalf of the developer, The Chetrit Group and Assa Properties.
The Goldstein Hill & West Architects-designed building is located at 515 Ninth Avenue between West 38th and West 39th Streets, and is walking distance from notable restaurants and the Theater District.
Rental apartments range from $3,105 to $10,050 per month depending on unit size.
The Cassa Hotel component of the building will be located on the first four floors, while the remaining floors are designated for rental units. Renters can access their units through the hotel lobby or through a private, 24-hour attended lobby.
“We’re excited about the development of the West 30s, where Chelsea meets Hell’s Kitchen,” says Cliff Finn, executive vice president at Douglass Elliman Development Marketing. “With the expansion of the High Line and excitement surrounding Hudson Yards, Cassa Hotel and Residences with its unique hotel experience is destined to become one of the premier rental properties in this booming area.”
Unit accoutrements include oversized windows, and rift-cut white oak floors throughout, as well as whitewashed oak cabinetry, Caesarstone countertops with natural Calcutta backsplashes, and stainless steel appliances. The bathrooms include porcelain floors and shower walls, white quartz vanity top, soaking tub and rift-cute white-oak vanity with matching medicine cabinet. Each residence includes in-unit washer and dryer and select units feature large outdoor terraces.
“One doesn’t typically see this level of finish in rentals,” says Jeff Gdanski, vice president at The Chetrit Group. “Our goal from conception was to create an urban sanctuary for guests and residents, setting Cassa Hotel and Residences apart from any other rental in the marketplace.”
Amenities include a rooftop sundeck with green lawn and spa tub, as well as a fitness center, lounge and private storage. The building will also offer a-la-carte concierge service to residents for an additional fee. The concierge offers services that help with travel arrangements, in-room massages, room service, dry cleaning and laundry services, housekeeping and other services.
